What happens on installation day

Most boiler swaps take one day. Moving the boiler or switching to a combi can take a second day.

    Drain down

    We drain the heating system and safely disconnect your old boiler.

  2. 02

    Remove the old boiler

    Your old boiler comes off the wall and goes away with us for recycling.

  3. 03

    Fit the new boiler

    The new boiler goes up with a new flue, condensate pipe and a magnetic filter to catch sludge.

  4. 04

    Clean the system

    A chemical flush clears out debris, then inhibitor goes in to protect against corrosion.

  5. 05

    Test and commission

    We test the gas supply, check the flue and set the boiler up to run efficiently in your home.

  6. 06

    Show you how it works

    We set up your thermostat, walk you through the controls and fit a carbon monoxide alarm.

  7. 07

    Register and guarantee

    We register the boiler with Building Control and the manufacturer, so your warranty starts.

How long does a boiler installation take?

Most boiler swaps take one day. Switching from a system or regular boiler to a combi, or moving the boiler somewhere new, can take a second day.

How soon can you fit my new boiler?

You choose your date when you book. Order before 3pm and the earliest date is the next working day. Saturday installations cost £100 extra.

Do you need to visit my home before giving a price?

No. You answer a few questions online and get a fixed, itemised price in about two minutes. If you'd rather talk it through, book a free video quote instead.

What's included in the price?

The boiler and its installation, plus removal and recycling of your old boiler, new flue, condensate pipe and all fittings, magnetic system filter, chemical system flush and corrosion inhibitor, programmable room thermostat, carbon monoxide alarm, gas pipe upgrade to the meter where needed (up to 22mm), registration with Building Control and the manufacturer warranty and 1 year workmanship guarantee. Any extra work your home needs is a fixed amount, shown in your quote before you book.

Which boiler is right for my home?

The quote works it out from your answers, such as how many baths and showers you have, and only shows boilers that suit your home. If you're still unsure, chat with us and we'll help you choose.

Can I switch to a combi boiler?

Usually, yes, as long as your mains water flow is strong enough. The quote checks this with a quick test at your kitchen tap. Switching from a system or regular boiler, including removing the cylinder and reworking the pipes, adds £850 to £950.

Can you move my boiler?

Yes. Moving it within the same room adds £350, to another room £1,300, and into the loft £1,500. The quote asks where you want it, so the cost is in your price before you book.

What warranty do I get?

Every boiler comes with its manufacturer's warranty, from 5 to 10 years depending on the model, plus our 12-month workmanship guarantee. We register the warranty for you. Most manufacturers need a yearly service to keep it valid.

How do I pay?

Pay nothing now. We'll call to confirm your date, then take a 50% deposit to secure it. The rest is due when the job is done.
